Returns and complaints

As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. The period runs from the day you received the goods (or the last parcel of the order).

How to return an item

1. Write to hello@sluggers.pl quoting the order number and what you are returning. A statement of withdrawal in the body of the e-mail is enough.
2. Send the goods back within 14 days of that statement, to the address we give you in our reply.
3. We refund the price plus the cheapest standard delivery we offer within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method. We may hold the refund until the goods reach us.

We will give you the return address in reply to your request.

The cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer. We do not accept cash-on-delivery parcels.

When the right of return does not apply

• Goods made to the buyer’s specification or clearly personalised, such as a print with your own text.

You may examine and try an item on as you would in a shop. If it is handled beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning (for example washed, or with the tags cut off), you keep the right to return it, but we may reduce the refund by the loss in value.

Complaints (statutory warranty)

If the goods do not conform to the contract (faulty, damaged in transit, different from what you ordered), write to hello@sluggers.pl within 2 years of delivery. Include the order number and photos. We reply within 14 days. We first replace or repair, and where that is impossible we reduce the price or accept withdrawal.

For transit damage a damage report signed with the courier helps, but its absence does not bar a complaint.

Disputes

Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution: mediation by the regional Trade Inspection authority, its permanent arbitration court, free help from the district consumer ombudsman, and the bodies listed in the register kept by the Polish competition authority UOKiK (uokik.gov.pl).
